Accessibility statement
Last updated 17 June 2026
SDQA CIC wants sdqa.org.uk to be usable by as many people as possible. We are working to make the site accessible and to keep improving it.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at level AA. This means, for example, that we work to provide clear and consistent navigation, sufficient colour contrast, text that can be resized, keyboard access to interactive controls, and visible focus indicators.
What we are doing
Accessibility is part of how we build the site, not an afterthought. As we add features we check them against our standard, and we review the site as it grows. This is a new site, so we expect to find and fix issues over time.
Known limitations
We are honest that no site is perfect. Some content, particularly third-party content such as embedded media or payment screens provided by our payment processor, may not yet fully meet our target standard. Where we find a limitation we will record it here and work to fix it. If you find something that is not listed, please tell us.
Reporting a problem
If you have difficulty using any part of sdqa.org.uk, or you need information in a different format, please contact us at [accessibility contact email - Irfan to confirm]. Tell us the page, what went wrong, and the device or assistive technology you were using, and we will do our best to help.
To confirm before launch: our target is to acknowledge an accessibility report within five working days and to aim to fix valid issues within twenty working days. SDQA to confirm it can meet this commitment before this statement is published.
Enforcement
If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), which is responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements in the UK, through the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
