Progress
In parts of South Asia, school is technically free but the buildings barely qualify. Overcrowded rooms. Leaking roofs. No furniture, no light, no materials. Attendance drops. Parents stop sending their children. A classroom built properly - solar-powered, equipped, stable - changes all of that for a generation.
Provide a safe, dignified learning environment for children in South Asia by building a purpose-built classroom designed for long-term, daily use.
Across parts of South Asia, many children are studying in overcrowded rooms or temporary structures with limited facilities and poor learning conditions. When classrooms are unsafe or inadequate, attendance drops, learning suffers, and long-term opportunity is lost.
A proper classroom creates stability, safety, and a setting where children can focus, learn, and grow with dignity. It becomes a lasting space for beneficial knowledge, strengthening families and communities over time, by Allah's permission.
Aisha crouches in the corner of a crumbling room shared by three classes at once. The walls are bare, the windows have no glass, and the teacher's voice is lost beneath the noise of sixty children pressed together on a concrete floor. She copies letters from a faded chart propped against the wall, but the light is poor and her eyes strain. She wants to be a teacher herself one day. She has told no one, because no one has ever asked what she wants to be.
A purpose-built classroom changes the question entirely. Solid walls, a proper roof, desks where children can sit and write without hunching on the ground. Light that does not fade when the clouds roll in. A space where Aisha is not fighting to hear but free to think, to ask, to answer. Every lesson becomes possible when the room itself is no longer the obstacle.
When a classroom stands where there was overcrowding and noise, something shifts in the whole community. Girls stay enrolled. Parents who hesitated begin to trust that school is safe. Teachers who were stretched beyond endurance find they can teach with care again. The building is concrete and steel, but what it shelters is something no storm can touch: the belief that every child deserves to learn in dignity.
Fund a classroom that gives Aisha the space to dream out loud. Build the room where sixty children no longer fight to be heard. Let every child belong. Let every lesson count.

South Asia
Across parts of South Asia, schools are often overstretched, with overcrowding and limited infrastructure. In some areas, children still learn in makeshift environments that are unsuitable during heat, rain, and seasonal disruption.
A purpose-built classroom provides structure and stability, enabling consistent learning, improving attendance, and supporting stronger outcomes over time.
Delivery is managed through experienced local partners with established access and practical oversight to ensure long-term use.
This project also reflects the practical realities of delivering in challenging environments, where access conditions can be restricted. SDQA applies a high baseline access rating where needed to ensure expectations remain grounded and governance remains strong.
Funding Phase
The project moves to implementation once all 100 shares are completed.
