A solar-powered pump pulls groundwater, a 40,000-litre elevated tank stores it, and gravity distributes it to the community - no fuel, no electricity bills, no dependency on outside infrastructure. Across parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, families still spend hours every day collecting water, often from unsafe sources. This affects health, education, income, and household stability. Women and children carry the heaviest burden, walking long distances to fetch water instead of attending school or earning a livelihood.
The 40,000 Litre Solar Water Tower System is a large-scale, sustainable water infrastructure project designed to provide reliable, clean water to an entire community. Powered entirely by solar energy, it eliminates the need for fuel or electricity, making it both environmentally sound and cost-effective to maintain.
