In the mountains of northern Pakistan, there is often water - just not usable water. Glacier melt is seasonal. Streams are contaminated. Rainfall is unreliable. A community pipeline channels clean water from a protected highland source down to the village using nothing but gravity. No pumps. No electricity. Just geography, used well.
Bring safe, reliable drinking water to remote mountain communities in Pakistan through a long-distance pipeline designed for long-term, community-managed use.
In northern Pakistan and other mountainous regions, remote villages often have no access to clean water. Families rely on glacier melt, streams, and rainfall, all of which are unreliable and often contaminated.
A community water pipeline channels clean water from a protected highland source directly to the village, creating permanent, reliable infrastructure.
Tariq rises before dawn and walks with his grandfather to the stream at the bottom of the valley. It takes an hour each way, and the path is steep and uneven. His grandfather moves slowly now, gripping a stick for balance, carrying a single canister that will not last the household through the day. Tariq is ten. He has done this walk every morning since he was seven. He has never been to school on time.
A pipeline changes the shape of Tariq's day entirely. Clean water drawn from a highland spring flows by gravity through the mountains and arrives at a tap near his home. The morning walk disappears. His grandfather rests. His mother no longer boils stream water and hopes for the best. Tariq arrives at school before the bell. Crops are irrigated. Livestock are healthier. The whole village begins to function differently, not because anything else changed, but because water is no longer a battle.
The pipeline is buried beneath rock and soil, out of sight, but its effect is everywhere. It is in the health of the children who no longer fall ill from contaminated water. It is in the hours returned to mothers and grandparents. It is in the quiet dignity of a community that no longer has to choose between thirst and everything else.
Lay the first metre of pipeline for Tariq's village. Give a grandfather rest, a boy his mornings back, and a community the water it has walked for long enough to reach.

Pakistan
Remote communities in northern Pakistan face severe water access challenges due to mountainous terrain and limited infrastructure.
Gravity-fed pipelines provide a sustainable, low-maintenance solution that serves communities without ongoing fuel or electricity costs.
Delivery is managed through experienced local partners with strong engineering capability and community relationships.
This project also reflects the practical realities of delivering in challenging environments, where access conditions can be restricted. SDQA applies a high baseline access rating where needed to ensure expectations remain grounded and governance remains strong.
